Target Beneficiaries
The scheme is aimed at individuals, both men and women, engaged in agricultural work in rural areas who have disabilities.
Based on Previous Scheme
This new scheme builds upon the existing "Divyang Bharn Poshan Anudan Yojana," incorporating relaxed conditions and restrictions.
Income Limit:
The scheme does not impose any specific monthly income limit, and it has been in effect since April 1, 2014.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, individuals must have a disability percentage between 20% and 40%, be aged 18 to 60 years, and not be receiving benefits from any other social security program.
Transition to Old Age Pension
If eligible individuals reach the age of 60 while benefiting from this scheme, they will be eligible for the Old Age Pension scheme, and this assistance will be discontinued.
